The latest edition to the Backyard Ultra collective from the creators of the world’s biggest backyard ultras in Ultra Series is now in Victoria! And we are excited to announce that Wild Dog Backyard Ultra will be coming to you from Lardner Park, the private property that is home to many wild and wonderful events before us.
Wild Dog is an incredibly exciting and spectator friendly ultra marathon, where runners come together every hour on the hour to set off on another lap.

And the laps equate to 6.71km. That’s 6.71km on the hour, every hour around the beautiful tracks and trails of the surrounding Lardner Park. Runners keep running until they tap out or get timed out, until there is one runner standing. The race goes for just ‘one more lap’ longer than the assist (the second last runner), for a winner to be crowned.

So we invite you to join us for this intriguing format that now has more official backyard ultras in the world than official marathons!!!
