At over 200km, the Kerry Way is one of Ireland’s longest signposted walking trail and also one of the most popular. The trail starts and finishes in the busy tourist destination of¬†Killarney. Looping around the Iveragh Peninsula, the Kerry Way goes anti-clockwise, passing through some of the most isolated and dramatic countryside in the country.

AURA’s Kerry way experts are Ben and Shirley Treasure who have walked the trail over multiple days, as well as Mal Gamble who has run the Kerry Way Ultra event twice. Mal says “it’s a stunning run over the best that Ireland has to offer but there are logistics involved so recommend highly that anyone thinking of doing it gets some tips and advice.”

Please feel free to ask Ben and Shirley or Mal any questions you may have.

The Kerry Way is a spectacular trail through the mountains of County Kerry, Ireland. Shirley and I fast packed the roughly 200 km over 4 days, using B&Bs and pubs for aid and sleep stations. The event is being run right now if anyone is interested in following it this is the link http://live.primaltracking.com/kerrywayultra2018/
