Old Mates Backyard Ultra, set in the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, is Far North Queensland’s first Backyard Ultra.

The 6.7km loop on the hour every hour covers single track trail and dirt roads with 110m of elevation. The course navigates tropical and eucalypt rainforest, passing flowing creeks and waterfalls and even taking in the sights of a WWII ruin. Add wildlife such as kangaroos, birds, brush turkeys and maybe even some other “friendly fellas”, this course is typically Far North Queensland!

The venue, Old Mates Farm, will provide a weekend of fun with 160 acres of farm and lots of room for camping. Bring the family and they can enjoy the farm animals, swimming in the creeks and playing in the wide open spaces!
