Styled on the infamous Big’s Backyard Ultra, the Mirrim Wurnit Back Paddock Ultra is held entirely on a private property (“Grace Park”) in the Macedon Ranges near the town of Romsey in Victoria, Australia. It comprises laps of a course that is approximately 6.7kms in length, on trails that criss-cross the property.  Total elevation over the course is approx. 170m

Each hour runners set out to complete one lap. They must complete the lap and be at the start line when the next lap starts, exactly one hour later – if they’re not back, or not at the start line, then it’s a DNF.

The last person to complete a lap, on their own (i.e. the last man standing) wins! Everyone else is a DNF
