The Kep Ultra is an icon of the Ultra Marathon scene in WA. One of the original Ultra events and one of the very first run over the 100k distance, the brainchild of Rob Donkersloot, the God Father of Ultra running in Western Australia.

And now, after a 7 year hiatus, it is with great pride and excitement, we welcome back the Kep Ultra to the WA running calendar with Rob’s blessings.

This V2 of the Kep Ultra will be running on much of the original Kep route, but will take out some of the obstacles that led to the halting of the original format.

The Kep Ultra has a very fond place in so many of our hearts and we are so honoured to be continuing the legacy that is the Kep. Utilising a combination of the Kep Track and the Heritage Trail between Woorooloo and Mundaring, and being old railway reserves, this leads to a fast and groomed course.

So buckle up, start your training plans, because the Kep Ultra is BACK!!!
