HerberTONNE [həːb – ə – tʌn]:
An epic endurance challenge on the mountainous Atherton Tablelands highlighting the wild and diverse trails surrounding the historic town of Herberton.
A 100km Trail Run featuring an amazing course designed to be run, to challenge and to be enjoyed by awesome dirt loving folk.

Word Origin: A play on the name of the event’s historic host town Herberton, itself named in 1880 after its location on the headwaters of the scenic Herbert River and combined with the term Tonne – a description often used for 1000kgs or 100 units of various objects, examples including and as in this case, kilometres of life changing and mind blowing trail.
