Challenging trail races through beautiful Brisbane Water National Park, an area of sandstone plateaus, rugged bush, lush ravines, waterfalls, and spectacular coastal scenery. The course is almost entirely single-track and fire-trail, and runners are looked after at checkpoints by the incomparable Terrigal Trotter volunteers
Where: The Great North Walk is a 250km walking track that runs along the coastal strip between Sydney and Newcastle in New South Wales. It was opened in the Australian Bicentennial year of 1988 and passes through some of Australia’s most outstanding scenery. Since 2019, the event has operated as an out and back, starting and finishing in Patonga, NSW.
