The Barossa Run is an ‘out and back, looped’ course, with loops consisting of 21.1km. It starts at St Hallett Winery and continues along the Barossa Walking Trail to Tanunda before returning. Participants running farther than 21.1km will do multiple loops.
All participants get to enjoy a day (or weekend) in Barossa Valley, at the heart of South Australia’s wine region, with supporters and runners enjoying a “home base” at a winery. Various prizes from the local community are on offer to the runners (as spot prizes) and all participants will receive a “Things to Do” pamphlet, showcasing many activities and places to be enjoyed in the local area.
Five dollars from every registration goes towards NADVS Women’s Safety Services SA’s NADVS (Northern Adelaide Domestic Violence Services) to help local women and children rise above domestic violence and thrive.
