Where: Nerang State Forest, situated 20km inland on the famous Gold Coast, Australia's premiere holiday destination. The Gold Coast is readily accessable by road or rail from Brisbane, capital of Queensland in addition to boasting its own international airport. The course is predominantly on 4WD fire trails and is hilly. Ideal training venue for the Kokoda Challenge to be held in July. In fact, the 25km walk essentially traverses the last section of the Kokoda Challenge.

When: The inaugural race was held on Sunday 3 April 2011. Next event 1 April 2012.

Status: The 25km course is essentially a training venue for those wishing to contest the Kokoda Challenge. The 50km trail race carries bronze label (367) of the International Association of Ultrarunners and is a selection race for those wishing to qualify for the Australian team to contest the world trail championships.

Race options: 50km or 25km. Walkers are most welcome for the 25km.
