The inaugural IAU trail world challenge was held in conjunction with the Sunmart 50 miler in Texas on Saturday December 8, 2007 The IAU trail challenge for 2008 was cancelled The IAU trail challenge for 2009 will be held at Serre Chevalier, France on 12 July 2009. AURA has been invited to select a team to represent Australia AURA expects to be in a position to assist with travel subsidies for 2009 in addition to the normal IAU subsidies see "IAU travel grants" below.
