IAU 50km trophy race |

The IAU conducts a 50km trophy race each year. There are several (approximately twelve) selection races held throughout the year between January and end July/August. The winner (male and female) of each selection race plus a number of wildcards (performance based) will then contest the final race. The Canberra 50km race to be held in April is a sleection race for the IAU trophy race for 2011. The last IAU 50km trophy race was conducted on 29th August 2010 in Galway, Ireland. The IAU trophy race for 2011 will be held at Assen, Holland (NED) on 20 August 2011. The IAU trophy race for 2012 will be held in Vallecrosia-Bordighera (ITA) on 20 October 2012
