IAU 24 hr world challenge

 

The IAU conducts a 24 hr world challenge event each year. AURA normally selects a team to represent Australia at this event.

To be considered for selection, the primary qualifying standard is 200 km for men and 180 km for women. Thi sis expected to be raised to 210 and 190 respectivey from and inclusing 2011. The principal qualifying events in Australia are the Caboolture 24 hour held in July, Sri Chinmoy Brisbane 24hr held in June and the Coburg 24 hr held in April. Qualifying events overseas may include the last World Challenge.

The 24 hour World Challenge for 2010 will be held at Brive, France on May 13-14.
